Drill Foreman

Aurelian Resources Inc is seeking expressions of interest from an experienced Diamond Drill Supervisor to work in Ecuador. There are currently 6 surface rigs on site, one Longyear 70, two Boyles 37´s, one CS1000 and two man-portables.

The successful candidate will have supervised drill contracts in remote locations. Latin American experience and a good understanding of Spanish is desirable. Pre-requisites for this position include a solid technical and mechanical understanding of the rigs and their requirements with regard to spares and consumables, guaging rock conditions in order to select correct drilling media and a versatile trouble-shooting capacity. The candidate will be responsible for expediting all aspects of the drill programme including pad construction; rig moves, access; timely requisition of spares and consumables, invoicing, managaing drill contracts, upholding a strong work safety ethic, drill process audits and reaching daily performance targets.

The position reports to the Exploration Manager.
