IF ARU and IF isn't in my vocabulary when it comes to ARU, doesn't find anymore gold copper or whatever, and FDN was their only discovery, they are following a typical discovery pattern. Where the share price shoots up during the heated phase of discovery and levels off and drops back until they either are bought out or start producing themselves at which time the share price takes off again. Take a look at Aber Diamonds ABZ from 1995 forward and see the typical rise to $27 and then the drift back to $7 in 1998, then rise back to $45 in early 2004. Today they are at around $40 a share and pay a dividend of around 3%.
If ARU doesn't hit anything else(another falacy)or be bought out, the share price will continue to struggle, and when production nears the share price will again take off.
IMHO FDN-BLP will be taken out for at least $25/ share, and they will go on to discover another great deposit on their land base.
Patience is the key and don't let the pro's shake the tree to get your shares, shake their tree and enjoy the ride.
We could be taken out anytime and we will hit another discovery one of these days, these alone are great reasons to own the stock besides the fact we are undervalued and manipulated by the market which isn't funny. Enjoy the ride and trade if you dare.
