"Hedging was a pioneering approach that you adopted. Why have you gone cold on that? Hedging is a phenomenal tool, particularly in the gold business. The reason we stopped [hedging] was because the environment and mood changed. So we adjusted and are now reaping the benefits."
"What's the next big acquisition for Barrick? I don't think right now we are contemplating an acquisition. Prices have gone quite highwhich makes acquisitions quite expensive. We have now a pipeline within our company probably for the next decade that allows us to develop these projects, which will give us significant organic growth.
