For starters I do own ARU shares for the obvious upside. My question which isn't new, but worrisome to me is why a leftist latin americian gov't would actually do the right thing? It seems to me that it would be a first. Just looking for some input as to why I'm wrong or should be less concerned. Thanks.
Peru has had a variety of leftwing govts over the years and they do OK. Brazil, Argentina also not too bad. Rather than view Correa as a leftist, I prefer to think of him as a Grand Master Cat Herder. He controls, with deft precision, a mixed bag of cats who, if not for him, would be all over the map, screeching, yowling and getting very little done.
