I even threw in a stink bid at US $ 8.10...I have no idea what that is in Real Canadian money...

Our money's just as unreal as yours I'm afraid, in fact I think we have less gold per capita in our treasury than you guys. Add to that the BofC seems determined to follow the Fed down the inflation rat hole and we're basically in the same boat.

My guess is the BofC tries to maintain parity until we all switch to the Amero (or whatever they're going to call it). It will be interesting to see how Mexicans take to that idea. I'll bet they start using silver for money again. They have lots of it, so why not? I don't know what we'll be using up here. beaver pelts and Hudson Bay blankets I suppose.
