It is clear from this comment as well as others I have received from Marla that they are communicating they are going by the letter of the law. Even if they thought this will be settled very soon, there is no way they will say that. I believe they have learned their lesson and are going out of their way to under promise at this point.

Given the situation, this is wise in my opinion.
