I'd be interested to know where an out of the loop, relatively unknown university professor was able to finance a run for President in a major election. I know he was finance minister in the previous Palacio government, but that was only for 4 months, and he didn't resign, he was fired, I think because of his anti U.S. and IMF stance.

He founded the Alianza Pais party in 2006. I think people tend to underrate this man, especially the U.S. He is a very smart cookie, and I believe he has the best interests of his country at heart. But what would he do to gain that end? That is the question.
