I see some interesting and thoughtful posts about Kinross reaching 90% or perhaps a small chance not, but nothing that I noticed re the post-90% process.
Joltin said earlier, I believe, that there will be an application by Kinross to the relevant Court to force acquisition of our shares. He may be right, for all I know, but I hate to think our Court system would permit such a hollow hearing. There must be more to it than that.
Again, can anyone say with certainty that the Court will (automatically) give us the offer price in return for the shares? Or will (as others have said) we have an opportunity to make representations for a fair (higher) price.
Could Kinross, rather than go to Court, make us an enhanced offer? This whole area, to me, is cloudy and I wish it could be resolved sooner rather than later, so we can consider our options, whatever they may be, or do we have none at all and must just wait it out? Hope some of our more market-wise types will step up. Aita? Ebear? Anyone?
