Fred, it is good that you have shared your personal manifesto. Underneath a hard shell, you must have some instinct to share and compare with other investors or we wouldn't have the benefit of this series of postings. Not "gospel", but a word to the wise.........

I am pleased to have your comments on Noront. Obviously, and as you point out, there are far too many variables and unknowns to completely pin down any stock, particularly a junior resource not yet producing. Also obviously, each individual has a wide range of personal considerations that will impact his/her investment decisions. However, only a fool would fail to weigh and consider input from all knowledgeable sources.

On the general topic of a pending fiat currency collapse, I believe you are right on the money, notwithstanding this is distinctly a contrarian viewpoint as far as the general public is concerned. I have lately been guilty of leaning towards a virtual collapse of civilization (or what we have that passes for civilization). However, as you correctly point out, many less drastic alternatives may come to pass. My takeaway from all this is that it would be unwise to put too many eggs in one basket.

Well, to me it's all quite fascinating and I hope your voice continues to be heard.

Best wishes to all ex-ARU types, wherever you are now!
