First US Money Funds were given the right to withhold redemptions.

The latest to be reported is that Citi Group has given notification they can ask for 7 days notice before allowing you to withdraw currency out of your checking account.

This is hilarious because a checking account is not a time deposit like a savings account but a demand deposit. This means you should be able to withdraw your currency whenever you want. I guess it will now be called a 7 day demand deposit hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
