Bear Lake Gold Ltd. Longueuil, Quebec, TSX.V : BLG, is a precious metals exploration company. The Company's objective is to build shareholder value through the acquisition, exploration and development of mineral properties of merit.

Current exploration is focused on various stage prospects in North America.

Upon completion of the merger of Maximus Ventures Ltd. and NFX Gold Ltd, in September 2008, NFX Gold Ltd. changed its name to Bear Lake Gold Ltd.

The Company's flagship project is the Larder Lake property, located in the Larder Lake gold mining district of north-eastern Ontario.

The Larder Lake property consists of a 100% interest in the Cheminis, Fernland, Bear Lake, Barber Larder and Kirkland Wright properties.

The Company also has a 75% interest in the Swansea property and holds 29 additional mining claims along the Larder Lake Break. An aggressive 43,000 m drilling program is well underway at Bear Lake.

Bear Lake Gold Ltd. has three other gold exploration projects.

The Company has an option joint venture on the Unity project in Idaho, where surface drilling began in July, 2008.

The Company also has an option joint venture with Newmont Mining Company at Hope Bay in Nunavut. At June 30, 2008, the Company has spent $4.4 million of a total commitment of $7.25 million to earn a 75% interest in certain claims at Hope Bay.

The Company also has an option to earn a 50% interest in the several properties located in the James Bay district of Quebec.

The management team has broad experience in the mining industry, from exploration to production.

Larder Lake Project - Ontario, Canada

Bear Lake Gold's primary mineral project is the Larder Lake project, comprising the Cheminis, Fernland, Bear Lake and Barber Larder gold properties (all 100% owned) located in north-eastern Ontario.

Additional holdings in the area include a 75% interest in 28 leased mining claims in McVittie Township and a 100% interest in 29 other mining claims located in McFadden, McGarry, Gauthier and Hearst Townships. Larder Lake Project details ...

Unity Project - Idaho, USA

Bear Lake Gold, through its wholly-owned Nevada subsidiary, Walker Lane Gold LLC, has an option to earn a 60% joint venture interest in the Unity Project from Unity GoldSilver Mines Inc. by spending US$1 million in exploration and development work on the property and by completing a positive feasibility study on or before November 30, 2010.

The Unity Project, located in Township 22N, Idaho County, Idaho, consists of 8 patented claims and 51 leased (staked) claims covering 420 hectares.

A 10,000 foot drill program at Unity began in August 2008, with the objective of investigating the continuity of the gold-bearing veins. Unity Project details ...

Hope Bay Project - Nuvavut, Canada

The Hope Bay project consists of two separate groups of claims totalling 114 square km located in the Hope Bay gold belt in Nunavut. Bear Lake Gold has the option to earn a 75% joint venture interest from Newmont Mining Corporation by incurring cumulative exploration expenditures of $7.25 million by October 31, 2009.

Lemoyne Properties - James Bay, Quebec, Canada

(Lemoyne North, Horseshoe, Taïga and Taïga West properties)
Bear Lake Gold has an option to earn a 50% joint venture interest in the Lemoyne Properties from Eloro Resources Ltd. by incurring $3 million in exploration related expenditures by July 15, 2011. The Lemoyne Properties cover a total of approximately 183 square km located east of Radisson in the James Bay area.
