regardless & Koo-Koo2, as TWR mentioned, the reverse split would be paired with a financing (likely US). That ups the shares outstanding and the market cap and puts a pile of shares into the hands of US investors.
Unless they have a sizeable deal that will be announced soon, I don't see anything that will move the stock price up. As we've learned over the years, it takes a deal or study results to boost the stock. Nothing else has produced a stock increase that lasts.
I don't see a "forward split". That just gets us farther from the necessary stock price for a Nasdaq listing. The minimal stock price for a Nasdaq listing I see is $2 US (plus other conditions). Scroll down to the section titled "Nasdaq Capital Market" on p 10.
I don't see a TSX listing instead. Note that all of BTI mgmt, the board, and advisors are American. We need US investors and US institutional investors. TWR mentioned Roth. That's US.
