A. JEFFERY TONKEN - President & Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Tonken founded Stampeder Exploration Ltd. in 1987, which was subsequently taken over by Gulf Canada Resources in August of 1997 for an aggregate price in excess of $1.3 billion dollars. Stampeder traded on the New York, Toronto, Alberta and Montreal Stock Exchanges. Mr. Tonken was previously a partner at Howard Mackie where he practiced commercial and corporate law for approximately 12 years. Mr. Tonken has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Alberta and a Law Degree from the University of Wales. Mr. Tonken was the President & CEO of Big Bear Exploration Ltd., which was acquired by Avid Oil & Gas in January 2000 and was the President & CEO of Case Resources Inc. which was acquired by Fairborne Energy Ltd. in July of 2004. Mr. Tonken is a past director of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP).

MYLES BOSMAN - Chief Operating Officer & Vice President, Exploration mbosman@birchcliffenergy.com

Mr. Bosman is a Professional Geologist, with 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Mr. Bosman was Chief Operating Officer of Case Resources Inc. when it was sold to Fairborne Energy Ltd. in July of 2004. Prior to joining Case, Mr. Bosman was Exploration Manager at Summit Resources Ltd., and prior thereto was the Exploration Geologist at Numac Energy Inc and Canadian Hunter Exploration Ltd. Mr. Bosman graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Geology Major) from the University of Calgary.

BRUNO P. GEREMIA - Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Geremia is the Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at Birchcliff Energy Ltd. Most recently, he was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Case Resources Inc. and prior to that he was Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at Big Bear Exploration Ltd. Prior thereto, he was a Director, Commercial at Gulf Canada Resources. Mr. Geremia was Manager, Special Projects at Stampeder Exploration Ltd. and prior thereto he was an associate at Deloitte & Touche, an accounting firm, where he obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in January 1992.

JAMES W. SURBEY - Vice President, Corporate Development

Mr. Surbey has over 27 years experience in structuring and financing acquisition transactions in the oil & gas, chemicals and pipeline industries. Mr. Surbey was Vice President, Corporate Development with Stampeder Exploration Ltd. and prior thereto acted as corporate counsel for Stampeder and others in his capacity as senior partner at the law firm of Howard, Mackie, (now Borden Ladner Gervais). Mr. Surbey has both engineering and law degrees from McGill University. Most recently Mr. Surbey was Vice President, Corporate Development at Case Resources Inc. and Senior Vice President, Corporate Development at Big Bear Exploration Ltd.

KAREN PAGANO – Vice President, Operations

Mrs. Pagano is the most recently appointed VP of Birchcliff Energy. With her previous 17 years exploitation, development & completions experience she will be a great fit with our current management team. Her subsequent experience includes Manager of Operations at Koch Exploration, Senior Production Engineer at Upton Resources Inc. as well as Senior Drilling and Completions Engineer with the Alberta Energy Company. Mrs. Pagano completed her Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, with distinction, from the University of Saskatchewan and followed that up with studies in Chemistry and Biology at the University of Calgary.

LAWRENCE BACKMEYER - Vice President, Engineering

Mr. Backmeyer is a Professional Engineer with over 27 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He started his career in the oil and gas industry with Texaco Canada in 1980 where he worked for almost 13 years, serving in a variety of capacities. In addition to gaining extensive experience in reservoir engineering, Lawrence spent approximately five years in the field, supervising the completion/operations engineering department at Texaco's Wizard Lake and Bonnie Glen fields. His subsequent experience includes Vice President of Business Development at Canext Energy, Vice President Engineering and Operations at Purcell Energy, Vice President of Engineering and Operations at Hartwell Petroleum and various consulting engagements. Mr. Backmeyer graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1980 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering.
