SHENZHEN, China, Dec. 31 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- China BAK Battery Inc. (Nasdaq: CBAK - News), one of the largest lithium-ion battery cell manufacturers in the world, as measured by production output, will host a conference call at 7:00 pm Eastern Time on Friday, January 23, 2009, to discuss results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2009.

China BAK's senior management team, led by Xiangqian Li, China BAK's President and Chief Executive Officer, will present at the conference call and answer questions.
