Chariot Chariot Resources Limited (TSX:CHD) offers one of the world’s premier advanced stage copper projects. The Company’s 70% owned Marcona Copper Property in Peru is rapidly advancing toward feasibility and production. With an offtake agreement already in place, financial contributions from two Korean joint venture partners, and project financing of up to $325 million committed, the Mina Justa start-up project is well positioned for near-term production.

A 2005 scoping study estimated annual production of up to 260 million pounds of cathode and copper in concentrate. The results of 100,000 metres of additional drilling in 2006 and 2007 are being incorporated into an updated resource estimate, and the feasibility study, scheduled for completion in Q2 ’08 will provide new estimates of production, mine life and cash costs. Permitting is scheduled to begin in Q3.

With proximity to key infrastructure including roads, power, water and a port, a significant resource and strong financial and commercial partners, the Mina Justa project at Marcona is scheduled to be a mid-tier copper producer.
