Hi Rebel, I'm not sure what you are disagreeing with. CLL SP does act on its own. PDP SP has a little affect on value, maybe not necessarily CLL SP. What I mean is that for every $1.00 change in PDP SP, CLL's value based strictly on their investment changes 6-8 cents per CLL share. This does not always reflect in a 6-8 cent change in CLL SP, it is just a value change. Same as if your portfolio may go up in value IF CLL SP went up a few cents. CLL has to record their equity portion of PDP earnings because it owns a certain %, according to GAAP. They don't necessarily have to receive their portion of the earnings, but they do have to account for it.
