Would you agree with these simplified definitions :

Netbacks = revenue - royalties - operational cost (including upstream cost and downstream cost)

Cash flow = netbacks - G&A Expenses - Interest Expenses* - Tax

Earnings = cash flow -DD&A - F/X - stock compensation +/-others (like 26% of PDP earnings)

NOTE: interest expenses from short term acct, credit lines and mostly long term debt related to reported revenue.
