My original question wasn't about the cause of the 2011/2012 dip, or to complain about the dip ...

My question was why 3PP (higher estimates) predictions were lower than 2PP (best estimates) predictions. I was comparing the two charts, thinking 3PP should produce higher estimates than 2PP. <- Bold not to be rude, but to clarify my confusion.

I believe Jurek provided a great explanation that the higher 3PP numbers trigger the royalties (hope I didn't misinterpret your comments J). If I'm still confused, never mind. Thanks for trying.
