Maybe it is the "sell in May and stay away" mentality - the summer is almost over, so it's time to get back into commodities.

Or maybe it is because hurricane season is starting. I've been watching Gustav since Sunday, and it doesn't look good. Well, I guess if it hits the right part of the Gulf, it could boost oil, but still, that's not the way a person wants to see our share price increase.

Regardless, once September arrives, it becomes more interesting to pay closer attention to the markets again.
