$2.5 was a strong support level. Dip below $2.5 IMO triggered some stop loses pushing the SP below $2.4
Next (not so strong) support is at $2.1
XEG (TSX energy sector ETF) is down 2%.
I purchased today my 2nd instalment of CCL.DB.A.
$20,000 CLL debenture for $17,400. Effective yield 5.46%. 6 months of interest will be paid in December. Two more instalments to go to hold a full position.
EnerVest Energy and Oilsands fund reported that fundholders redeemed 60% of the units. They are forced to sell majority of their holdings to pay out the cash.
IMO deleveraging process of commodity bubble is the name of the game here.
