Sharky, in response to your question about the auto bailout: Gettelfinger (UAW president ) is fairly confident the US Treasury dept. (as they have already hinted this morning) will use some of the $700B "TARP" money to "save" the industry, this is a complete reversal of Sec. Paulson's original position. The fear is, if allowed to go bankrupt, buyers will not purchase cars in fear of warranty rights.
