Connacher is a growing exploration, development and production company with a focus on producing bitumen and expanding its in-situ oil sands projects located near Fort McMurray, Alberta
Over the last few days, institutional ownership has increased by approximately 6 million shares. It is now over 66 million shares where before it was over 60 million shares.
With regard to the company's funding.
I think it is good that investors are aware that the company will need to provide interest payments on its loans and of course will eventually have to pay off the principle.
However, the number of ways in which the company may decide to do this are numerous.
And, that's what the company's senior staff and board of directors are for. They have ongoing information which puts them in the best position to make decisions on behalf of the company. I'm sure that nobody there is asleep at the switch.
If you go through their backgrounds, you will be somewhat impressed.
It is very simple. With the information that they have, they have to make decisions so that the company will be able to meet its financial obligations. We certainly have the right to second guess them, as long as we realize that that is all we are doing. And when we look back a couple of years from now, I think we will be somewhat impressed with the acumen that they will show in resolving the various issues that always have to be dealt with when companies are borrowing to finance projects, etc.,
I hope you are all having a good weekend.
Best Wishes,
Lynn
