I agree, infastructures around the U.S and Canada are crumbling, but it's not because the gas taxes are too low. In Canada, and my Province Ontario, it's not that taxes are too low, it's that a very SMALL percentage of gas taxes goes into roads and bridges, the rest goes into general funds. I'm sure the same goes for you State.
