Rebels:
I understand the motivation for the BS that every company throws into their press releases and shareholder communications. And it ain't motivated by effective communication! However, clarity of communication in my opinion should trump the priorities of the waste of bureaucratic and legalistic nonsense which Corporations frequently use to negate their responsibility for effective communication. A primary example of which, all too often, is the shareholder communications of Connacher. The focus and objective of shareholder communications needs to shift from serving the objective of "baffling them with BS", and "CYA" to clarity ,efficency and effectiveness. To do less only impedes effective communication and honesty.
