We're all forgetting that CLL was .61 cents just a little while ago..When the high sixties, low seventies was the norm a few months back..AN OFFERING of .90 was considered asking a premium price..

NOW FOR THOSE WITH CONSPIRATORIAL TENDENCIES

If you take the .61 close of Mar 20 ( the lowest close of 2009)

then add the $1.47 close on May 12 ( the highest close of 2009)

you get $2.08

now add them together and divide by 2 to get an average.

Surprise you get $1.04

OOh OOh now wait, it gets even better

$1.04 , for those paying any attention, was the close on May 26th..which of course was the day before the 27th when the Offering price was announced.

Headline did say Offering was at a 13% discount.

When taken into context GIVING 13% discount to get financing in these times probably isn't to unreasonable and I'd argue much better than PAYING a 13% premium on borrowing costs.
