With the massive cutailing of production on a world wide basis which has occured, any increase in consumption will have dramatic impact on supply with resultant shortages. Unfortunately, supply cannot be turned off and then on rapidly enough to prevent a calamitous economic situation.

Any analysis should encompass at least an informed judgement of such a potential on the part of both investors and producers so as to formulate alternative action plans.
