Connacher is a growing exploration, development and production company with a focus on producing bitumen and expanding its in-situ oil sands projects located near Fort McMurray, Alberta
So for me it's not a matter of honesty but a matter in taking the right steps for the shareholders interest.
i agree. i don't care if managment molests farm animals as long as I make money.
Yes it's all about that. It's said in a rare sence of humor but that's why we invest in that stock. It's to make money not to loose.Stocks can go up and down with trends during the year but a drop 5 times the value a year ago and for PDP a much bigger drop .
It's not the best idea for applause for management .I don't think their wages dropped the same .Let's see what the future will bring .
I could have lived with a drop half the value but not one we have now with on top a double amount of shares.Crisis or not .If I should run my own company and I loose my cash for some reason then it's my own money and I feel the pain for my actions but fooling around with other people's money is something else.We feel the pain not them. Also the big funds don't care as much because it's also someone else his money they receive from people all around. It's like the banks.Getting money from people and playing poker on the stock market .And on top if all went wrong like we have seen they come whining to the State to get some money to fill the hole they made.
And after the rescue they start again their bonusses system like BNP Paribas would have done some weeks ago here in Europe. They never learn.
