Clarification

A clarification is necessary before everybody starts assuming that Connacher is involved in AOS's SAGD project that was announced at Clearwater today. If you look at Alberta Oilsands (AOS) website http://www.aboilsands.ca/operations/overview.html and read the information carefully you will see that Connacher is not involved in the stacked SAGD project that AOS is asking permission from the Alberta Government to build near the municipal airport at Fort MuMurray at all.

Connacher is a 50/50 partner in the Hangingstone Project at Halfway Creek which is farther south, but Connacher has nothing to do the the Clearwater pilot project that was announced by Alberta Oil Sands today at all. So lets be clear about this before everyone assumes the wrong thing. Connacher is not involved in the Clearwater Project.
