I can only think of a couple of reasons Connacher would not expand their conventional reserves.

1. The oil reserves are not there to be commercially viable.

2. In light of their other financial commitments, they at present do not have required capital to expand conventional production.

It is absolutely critical that oil stay at a reasonable price level. We cannot afford another crash in oil prices!
