I like the analysis - For $2 billion, you can buy a 15k boe oilsands producer lock, stock and barrel, plus a Montana refinery, and we'll throw in the PDP shares for free :) And production is growing! Once the Algar expansion approval is received, well who knows what might transpire. As the original poster said, if you started today it would take you years to assemble the land package, get the approvals and build the SAGD operations. Couldn't do that for $2 billion, could you?

Of course I don't think DG would sell his baby for $2 a share, but $3?
