It never ceases to amaze me how limited and isolated the non creative mind is. The concept of value added just escapes it in the perception of profit creation. A common and frequently deadly trait when only the technical non creative disciplines are allowed to dominate a company. Let alone an entire industry. Is market planning the only relevent discipline? Of course not. But to ignore it or, allow it to be administered by those not familiar with its precepts, has desroyed as many companies as a marketing only driven approach to business! Can at this point Connacher afford a dedicated marketing professional. Likely not. However, there are other industry participants in a similar situation. A joint effort funded by such industry participants may well make sense. And for gods sake keep such an effort out of the hands of governmental hacks!
