I made an error in terms of the math. I just checked Jurek's earlier post and he said that Connacher will get 3.3 million shares of Gran Tierra in return for it's 21% interest in Petrolifera not the 8 million I mistakenly stated in my previous post.

So 3.3 million Gran Tierra shares divided by 447 million Connacher shares means that Connacher shareholders would get .007382 for each Connacher share that they hold. This works out to, for every 1000 Connacher shares that you own you would get 7.382 Gran Tierra shares.

I screwed up royally on the math in my last post. Hopefully this is better. Sorry for my previous error everybody. I should have worked out my previous post on paper before I posted it. Lesson learned.
