Well Nick, unfortunately it looks like your CLL support level at $1.3 was broken.
Hopefully CLL will come with some positive news to stop the bleeding.
The election results (25% of eligible voters elected Conservative Government with a solid majority) did not spark investor rush to buy shares as expected here by some. In the contrary, Canadian financial markets plummeted today. Canadian currency is down as well.
Sharky, you were right about Canadian Conservative Party. They are more on the centre of the political spectrum. They did not have any ideological problems to unload massive taxpayers money to bailout the bankrupt Dodge and GM or to create $50 billion deficit from the $10 billion dollars surplus. Unprecedented spending was implemented regardless of luck of the financial crisis in Canada.
Conservative party is fully committed to the welfare state and universal health care program we enjoy in Canada (which is being fought against in the USA).
Remember when the Conservative Party of Alberta almost double the Oil royalties to force a corporations to share the wealth with poor people of Alberta? I suspect that all of the above is not exactly the conservative agenda.
The same like with other parties, it is all about POWER and privileges. No more no less.
