I drive around 25000km as well, in fact most Canadians drive less than 24000km as they live in urban areas.

Not many people over here use heating oil anymore except in older country homes and many of those converted to propane.We mostly use natural gas and Electricity..I use electric heat so it costs me 198 a month on budget plan.My hot water tank is natural gas.My total energy bill is around 2700 per year on an 1800 square foot house.
