I do not think you have got my point.
In general, funds for your retirement should not be invested in companies like CLL. The chances that you loose all of your hard saved RRSP money is too great.
Cll funds from operation do not cover their total expenses. Simply put they have negative free cash flow and to keep going they have to fire-sell their assets or issue new debt or dilute with new equity shares.
CLL long term model (with post-payout Royalties) is not sustainable with bitumen prices bellow $67 to $70 (WTI about $125 to $130).
As of today, with a short term Royalty brakes CLL needs bitumen at $52 to $55/bbl (WTI ~102 to 105/bbl) to pay their bills and maintain the production.
August average was only $42 per barrel of bitumen.
If you want to gamble (try to make money) by trading this stock it is totally different story. At list time to time you have some chances to get lucky.
On the Daily charts we closed today at the lowest level since late 2004.
As for gamblers, Hourly Chart generated today sell signal at 54 cents at 3PM.
