yes it is a nice neighbourhood to live in .....only the occasional drive by shooting...there really was one last year ...drug related....nobody was hurt....and everyone was out the next day with their baby strollers and dogs walking as normal.

You are right again yes that is the capitol of the rock . Yes the street is extra wide , as i am on the main drag..and yes again almost every driveway has a pickup or at least a SUV.

Traffic has its moments on the drive home sometimes but really not that bad. I am at work in 10 min even in the winter.

The last pile of snow melted off my back lawn last week !! There is still salt on the parking lot here at work.

Our homes are built on a concrete foundation as well, you are correct it helps stop the cold air from getting under the home to lower heating costs.
