Hi Terry

What is skidoo? Is that walking on ski's like we say "langlaufen " which is a kind of take a walk on ski's or is it skating down hills? In the Ardennes this is popular but where I live it's flat like a pool table. Not spectacular to see besides the ancient cities .The coast is a nice place but in summer to crawdy. My favorite coastal city here is Knokke. This is the place where the more fortunated people are coming and the jet set.You see all brands of sportscars and special ones including the heavy V8 US muscle cars.Very luxury shops with all the famous brands .Many young guys hobby there is to spot nice cars and take pics of them and place it on the net.My car is also fotografhed many times there.

Ice fishing is something I would like to do.I've seen that on you tube vids.Looks fun to do.

Quads or used in the Ardennes as well but here you see the sporty ones driven by mostly young guys but not so much.Motorcycles are very popular but also used because of the heavy traffic we have here so with a bike you can drive between the cars in rush hours and traffic jam .

That must be great to have a cabin eslwhere. Many people here have caravans at the coast and some a "chalet" in the Ardennes. In French part of Belgium scenary is nice as well but I think it's far more quiter on the Rock then here.Do you know a lot of Canadians and US soldier died in Belgium at WW1 and2.There are many cementaries and I have visited some of them and I assure you this is very overwhelming when you see all those white graves .It gives a humble feeling seeing all this young people average age 19 years who died so young .It's impressive. Not far from my place there is one too.

When summer time is so short driving the bike is a bit limited I think.I don't use mine when there is a possibilty of salt on the roads.I can drive almost 9 to 10 months a year if winter is not severe in our terms here. This winter I drove all time now and then .

I think for someone like me who isn't familiar with cold weather for such a long time it 's hard to get used to it though I would like the things you do .I would like to fish on tuna like I follow the guys on National Geo.That must be great to catch such big fish on a rod.
