Interesting article and not to worry - I am not interested in getting a political discussion going here either. However, the article does reinforce my opinion that if the projected labour shortage across the country may indeed impact Teck's ability to build the mine on time. Not sure if this matters though in the big picture or if there is any enforceable penalties attached if the mine is not built in the contracted time frame. I imagine Teck has a good handle on this sort of thing and has factored this into their potential buyout price. Likely one of many reasons why Teck is deliberating this long over the CUU.
