Since the topic of non-dark and dark trades has been mentioned, is there any regulations regarding the share price the dark venue trades must be within? I've looked but can't find any but I'm sure there's something there somewhere.

No doubt institutions can put in a lower buy order on the open market and then when they're at the front of the que, do a dark transaction at or near that price hoping to trigger stop-losses.
