CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
>Off the topic, I have not been able to find out what the troop of fully bushed Alcan trucks full of fuel cans were doing in Quesnel/Prince George. I can't see what they would be doing in this area. (Another major hydro project) Earth works are being done as a company is hiring for the measurement team. Something really big is going on and we can't find out a darned thing. Arrhhg<
The snow melt this year for the Nechako resevoir is 160%. The spillway is open quite wide and I think they may want to open it more. Perhaps the Alcan trucks are to figure out what the results of that would be.
Long term...it may have something to do with them increasing the flow to the generators at Kemano. or perhaps they plan a "run of the rivers" project. Just guessing.
That is of course you mean Rio Tinto Alcan.
If the rest of you may be wondering wtf this has to do with CUU, well not much but the extra high spring melt may delay any drilling and road building plans.
