It's important to remember that the Resource Estimate only tells us what is in the ground. It does not tell us what can be removed from the ground economically.

With the 2008 preliminary feasibility study, only 820M tonnes out of the 1393M tonnes could be mined economically (reserve vs resource). Elmer's focus on producing realistic Resource Estimate indicates that the feasibility study will have a much better ratio between the reserve and the resource.
