Good explanation Jay. I agree with all on using good DD, and have been burned in the past on a couple anyway. "Sure bets". Always that chance. Also age enters into the timeframe. I'm not ashamed to say I am knocking on the door to being 65 & retired since 2010, and at that don't have as much, per say, time, to recoup losses or make up for losses as a much younger working person would have. Easier to bounce back if one has another 20+ yrs. to work. As far as diversification goes, if all my investments were looking like CUU there would be no need for it. Shoulda, woulda, coulda ! I should have had more shares of Force Protection when it went from $.08 to $30. I did my DD on that stock too.
