Message: Where r our Magnetics?

Judging by the recent pool and some of the comments, I don't think this Board gives Elmer the credit he richly deserves. I believe he knows what he is doing and we will all be pleasantly surprised by his actions on behalf of the shareholders. If there is no information being given out, it may be part of the larger plan.

I second Vette's opinion on the Aerials. When I spoke to Elmer in the office last Saturday - that's right shareholders - again in on a Saturday, he confirmed the aerials were sent directly to Mira because they are the best in the industry at what they do and he felt there was no point in coming out with interpretations on the most recent survey area when they could get the real science on the entire District surveyed to date which will be much more informative. (Besides, it saves Chappy working overtime).

He again re-affirmed that the BFS was proceeding on schedule, and indicated they want no stone left unturned when it comes out, so they are tediously working out details and what-ifs so that the report cannot be challenged. We need it and Teck needs it done this way. He gave me an example of a BFS that recently came out for another company which was flawed in that an alternative and cheaper production scenario came to light that the report generators hadn't even considered. Kind of blows the credibility. So Elmer said he is not pushing.

And incidentally, one of the reasons I called - The Board would go to the shareholders for a vote if there was an offer on the table to buy Schaft - the asset. So any offer would be made public, which ties in with Jason's recent statement that we would see the BFS regardless.

I know we want dollars in our pocket, and the wait is mind-numbing, but I feel we are in good hands and should give management some leeway.

It will be interesting to see if there is any more insider buying after the AGM. I can't believe they won't use the opportunity to have a Board meeting and fill everyone in.

Also - I can't wait for the Teck quarterly on June 25 - they'll have to comment on the April 2 transaction for the 80,000 hectares beside CUU won't they? I haven't seen this announced anywhere. This plus the $6B plus the shelving of QB?

Gonna be fun!
