Maybe I'm young and naive, but most of the boards advice sounds terrible (maybe I'll change my mind once I get married eh?). This may seem shocking on an investment board but money isn't as important as an open relationship where you communicate with your wife about investments and money allocation (among other things).

I mean, the ultimate point of money is to increase quality of life and your overall life satisfaction - i.e. so you can be happier. You have to do the risk:reward of hiding money from your spouse and if she finds out, or if you lose it compared to if you double or triple or quadrple it. That's a decision that you have make on your own though as we all have different risk tolerances. Is the oppenness and trust in a relationship not worth an extra possibly 40,000? Depends on your own financial circumstances.
