Webgogs, with all due respect you're characterization of TT as a engineering firm that is "barely holding it together" is terribly biased and unfairly based on the opinions of very few employees. Did you bother to read the other reviews of employees that were happy to work there and were satisfied with the working environment?

Every major company has their problems and quirks. As a retired engineer I haved worked for several large Engineering companies (one even considered a top notched firm by their peers ) and they all have similar problems that large corporations deal with. If you look hard enough you can always, always find several disgruntled employees that wil bad mouth everything about the firm. Does it make the work they do unprofessional - No. Does it make their work shoddy - No. If the right people are working on the project and if the managers involved are professional, the work will be done professionally.

And speaking about project deadlines. Yes, sometimes deadlines aren't meant. The biggest reason that they are missed is because of client changes and inputs received along the way. If a client is not happy with something they can request changes. Changes, depending on what they are could delay a project from a few days to weeks. It is not the firms fault when these things happen and believe me they happen quite frequently. So if TT does miss their stated deadline by a few days or weeks it is imho, not a reflection of unprofessionalism. It may be due to a client request of a change or rework of something. Elmer is taking the time to produce an airtight BFS so I am not surprised if there may have been several changes or reworks done along the way. You cannot have a precise timeline when doing work like this. It is that simple.

Having said all that I believe the BFS will be done on time in Sept. The major components of the study have already been done so there will likely be very few changes if any before we get the final report.
