CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
I agree.
This is why Teck should want to pay a lot for Shaft Creek. For example, if CUU can justify that their 25% is worth $2Billion, Teck pays us $2B then owns the whole enchilada.
Now, Teck only wants 50%.....which is now is now worth $4b. They sell 50% of shaft and in the end they gained $2b and can write how capex costs will be shared however they like...
This deal is great for Teck, those who think otherwise are not seeing the big picture
If CUU was only "worth" $1b then Teck would have a less valuable asset to sell....
