Well said, Cbew ... this is a very large engineering project, especially if done properly, and there many variables (especially with those quotes that are only good for 30 or 90 days - they've already expired by the time the FS is ready). Webgogs posted a good little article a few days back about how often FS don't meet proper standards. Way too often. In my line of work there is an incredible amount of back-forth for months sometimes on multi-million dollar projects ... now try a multi-billion dollar project.
I'm am starting to get very restless also, so some updates on our progress would be nice (e.g. "so and so finished their review, now we are looking at their recommendations, and will produce a final draft, blah blah blah"). I do agree that it could take a month plus to really review this well. I don't think it will take this long, but I'm preparing for November so that I don't go stir crazy.
