Awhile ago I spoke with Mike and he seemed to indicate that Teck would like to see how the market reacts to the feasibility. I don't think the stock price is going to shoot out of control when the feasibility is released so they are probably safe from it soaring above the fair value.
There might be a benefit to Teck to have the feasibility reviewed by analysts, and to have the project publicized and talked up a bit. They have a lock on the project essentially until they are forced to declare their interest so a well-received feasibility would help them if they were to buy out our BC properties.
If the feasibility causes a bit of stir then Teck will be able to take it to their potential partners and make a deal. I've always thought if Xstrata or another major, wanted a part of this project that they would be better off approaching Teck and working out a deal rather than trying to buy into Copper Fox.
