CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
Ok one question how could releasing the bfs negatively affect negotiations with teck? Unless they are planing to sell us below market value. If they release it and our sp climbs to reflect true value what negative affect would result in negotiations? I just can't see that scenario unless bfs is not as good indicated by management.
Transfer of Liard shares being the main reason, and having to "buy them back". Bidding war being another reason. Wanting to make the offer before BFS is released to the public. The general back-in decision is also a little complicated as well and becomes easier to deal with pre-BFS release/in tandum with the BFS release.
