Full production is not until 2020. This is hardly the turn key mine we were promised. The BFS reads more like a guideline than a solid path forward. Lots of uncertainties.

This may not be as "Ugly" as some suspect. As YourNadir has pointed out: Teck extended the Highland Valley mine live through till 2025, thus a 2020 start date could work to Teck's advantage as they wind down HV they can contract many permanent workers to the North. Otherwise there is a large number of mining workers that will look to other areas of Canada/World for employment.

BC currently is dealing with the controversial Temp Chinese Miners Fiasco. There is a desperate skills shortage and with the dates pushed back, the Manpower will be conveniently available.... Maybe Teck wanted the a pushed back date so that the "so called" waste rock drilling could be completed to expand the mine?
